WI GOP passes anti-union bill without Dems. Possibly violating open meeting laws and others.

There’s snow on the mountains. I will miss them. But the hills are awesome, and I feel back at home.

I will not buy from Amazon.com any more. I hope you will consider doing the same. Amazon.com has put hundreds of Coloradans out of work today. All in retaliation of a bill requiring them to collect information about sales tax for purchases in Colorado. Plenty of other online businesses (including Barnes and Noble) already do this. They don’t even have to collect the tax or pay it to the state. But they severed ties from people who advertise and click through to Amazon from Colorado just to spite the legislature. Shame on them! I can’t believe that Maya Angelou posted a link for a free trial of Sirius radio on Facebook today. I posted a comment to her page about how corporate media has shut out voices of minorities and local communities across the world. I am so disheartened. Mother Maya has sold out. ):

HB10-1266 Committee Hearing is this Tues. Mar. 2 in the morning. Business Affairs and Labor, Room 0112 at the state capitol.

I am excited about CO House Bill 10-1266. It allows small businesses, nonprofits, and local governments to buy state health insurance.

I need someone with cable on Thursday at 4PM to watch the US v. Canada gold medal women’s hockey game on MSNBC. Stupid NBC. They put the men’s quarterfinals on channel 9 and the gold medal women’s hockey on cable. Poo-poo heads!
